August 2014 Ipsy Bag:

This is my final month with Ipsy. I unsubscribed for three reasons.

1. I am gathering more makeup than I am using up through subscribing to Ipsy
2. I am not receiving the products I want from the previews.
3. I want to subscribe to Popsugar instead.

Ipsy is great for those who are just starting out with makeup. It's a great way to get basic products from  specific brands.

June 2014 Ipsy Bag: Pretty in Paradise

This month was a mess for ipsy. Not product-wise, but customer service-wise. Glam rooms didn't go up in time, people at makeuptalk were getting mad.

This month's Ipsy bag is called "Fresh Picks"-so I guess they're doing the nature theme this month. It's a very skin-care heavy month for me.

April Haul of Shame

The thing I like about April is the Sephora Chic Week haul. I only buy things from Sephora 2 times a year, both times during their sales.

Now, to say that I took advantage of the sale is an understatement. At least on my standards. This is the biggest haul I ever made and I'm really ashamed about it. This is what happens when I let myself shop after months of not doing so people. 

April 2014 Ipsy Bag

I got a subscription to ipsy for the next two months. If you guys don't know, ipsy is a $10/month beauty subscription service created by Michelle Phan. Who is Michelle Phan? Well, she's the most subscribed beauty guru in youtube who now heads a beauty empire. She's kind of awesome.

A friend of mine says that her looks are not really good and I could see how other beauty gurus might have better tutorials but I still admire her. She created the company ipsy, her own makeup line and she blogs. If anything, I appreciate hard work.

Anyway, here's  inside this month's music festival inspired ipsy bag called "Beauty Rocks"
