Weekend baking: Plain French Macaron

Knowing how to bake French macarons is a very bad skill to have while trying to loose weight. Anyway, that thought aside, I am proud to say that this is the best batch of French macarons I ever made. No cracks were present in any of the shells I made.

So I baked a few batches of macarons ever since eating my first macaron about 8 months ago and I always used a weighing scale until I saw April's salted caramel macaron video:
